Willy Neuweiler of Bartonsville, formerly of Franklin Square NY died Monday April 20, 2020 at Whitestone Care Center, Stroudsburg Willy was born in Astoria Queens, August 25th 1934, the son of William Neuweiler and Berna Sanders and grew up in Franklin Square New York. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. And went on to be a line man with the NY Telephone Company. He married Maryann Kealy and was a loving & caring provider to his wife and four children. In the years following his early retirement he was a proud devoted volunteer aboard the Intrepid Air Space Museum NYC credited with much of the restoration work especially the captain's bridge. He was a loving and caring friend to all that knew him. He leaves behind his ex-wife and friend of 63 years, Maryann Kealy, his son Paul, daughter Linda and grandchildren Bianca, Kevin, Thomas, John Oliver and John Tyler Funeral services will be held privately. The family asks, in lieu of donations or flowers, that you spend time with family and friends. And take them to the Intrepid Air Space Museum in NYC
