William Thomas "Billy" Rose

William Thomas “Billy” Rose Sr. 59, of East Stroudsburg passed away on Saturday November 26, 2016 at the Pocono Health System Hospice House. He was the husband of Loretta (Brennan) Rose they were married for 16 years. Born September 5, 1957 in Bayridge, Brooklyn, New York the son of the late Lester and Ellen (Cole) Rose: he was a resident of Monroe County since 2004 and prior to that of Brooklyn, New York. Billy was a member of the Church of Saint John Marshall’s Creek. He worked as a custodian at the ESU University Ridge Apartments, prior to that he was the copy center manager at Pocono Medical Center and while he was in New York, he worked for New York City Industry for the blind. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Cassidy E. Rose and William T Rose Jr. both of East Stroudsburg, his brothers Kenneth Rose of Charlottesville, Virginia, Robert L Rose of Blooming Glen, Richard Rose of Long Island, Thomas M. Rose of Las Vegas Nevada, Timothy P Rose of California, Lawrence Rose of East Stroudsburg and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his twin sister Ellen M Rose and his brother Patrick Rose There will be a visitation on Saturday December 3, 2016 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with a memorial at 6:00pm with Father Gregory A.
