Wilbert (Wolly) Ralph Wollenberg, 95, of East Stroudsburg, passed away suddenly at his home

on Wednesday May 7, 2025. He was the loving husband of Diane A. (Delturco) Wollenberg,

they were married for 45 years.

Born February 22, 1930, in Terryville, Connecticut, the son of the late Albert and Albertina

(Haupt) Wollenberg. He was a resident of the Poconos since 2014 and prior to that of Byram

Township, NJ since 1980.

He was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force stationed in Japan.

Wolly was a quiet man. He loved music, bowling, hummingbirds, computer games and a good

martini with friends. But, most of all he loved his family.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at McDonald Douglas for 40+

years. He was stationed at Cape Canaveral, working on the Gemini and Mercury projects, and

many other aeronautic and defence projects. He also worked part time for the Hopatcong Board

of Education for more than 10 years.

In addition to his wife, Wolly is survived by his children, Jessica (John), Kristen (Nate), Jean,

Kurt, Heidi and seven grandchildren

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
