Wayne Christman

Wayne Christman, a spirited soul, passed away on December 29, 2023, at his East Stroudsburg home. Born on June 27, 1966, in Allentown PA, Wayne was a man with an incredible zest for life. He was a son to Claude and Shirley Christman of Kunkletown, PA.

Throughout his journey, he found a loving home with The ReDCo Group in 2000, where he embraced the company of three cherished housemates. These friendships enriched his life, and he formed deep connections with those who supported him along the way at his home and at Developmental Education Services day program that he attended for many years.

Wayne's love for sports knew no bounds, and he was a devoted fan of both baseball and football. His collection of precious baseballs, helmets, and bats represented his undying loyalty to the game. Whenever his beloved teams triumphed, Wayne's enthusiasm was infectious, and he made sure everyone knew about it. With a fun-loving and affectionate personality, Wayne never allowed his limitations to dampen his spirits. He fearlessly swung his bat around and danced joyfully to his favorite country tunes.

To honor Wayne's remarkable life, funeral services will take place on January 5, 2024, at 1:30pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, with visitation at 12:00pm. The service will be officiated by a caring pastor, and his final resting place will be in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.

Although Wayne has left this world, his vibrant spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire us to embrace life's joys with relentless enthusiasm, just as Wayne did.
