Virginia Martinez Shoenfeld

Virginia Martinez Shoenfeld, 92, passed away on Monday April 29, 2019 at the South Nassau Hospital, Oceanside, New York. She was the widow of Nathan Shoenfeld who died in 2007. Born March 22, 1927 in Panama, the daughter of the late Tirburco and Maria(Costellanos) Martinez. She worked as a private duty nurse in Lawrence and Cedarhurst, New York. Virginia is survived by her 6 children Marva, Grace, Lilia, Flora, Esther, and Ruth. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Samuel. Friends and family may call on Sunday May, 2019 from 11:00am to 3:00pm with a funeral service at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will be on Monday May 6, 2019 in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
