Victoria B. Viechnicki

Picture Victoria B. Viechnicki, 71, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2017. She was the wife of John J. Viechnicki for over 44 years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Karen L. Viechnicki of London, England, Beth McWilliams and her husband Tom of Bryn Mawr; her 2 grandchildren Ryan and Emma McWilliams; her brother Tom Butz of New Jersey; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Born May 8, 1945 in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Leila (Neyhart) Butz. She was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School Class of 1963 and East Stroudsburg State Teachers College and was a resident of Monroe County for most of her life. Until her retirement, she taught First Grade and Kindergarten for 25 years at J.M Hill Elementary School, East Stroudsburg. Catholic prayer services will be held on Friday January 13, 2017 at 11:00am at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will follow in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg. There will be a viewing on Thursday January 12, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Friday January 13 from 10:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
