Thomas Wilson Drake Sr.

Flag Thomas W. Drake Sr. 68,of Stroud Township passed away on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House.  He was the husband of Linda S. (Plattenburg) Drake, they were married December 1979.  Born August 1, 1949 in Allentown, the son of the late William B. and Mary (Wilson) Drake. He was a resident of Monroe County since 1975 and prior to that of Bethlehem.  Tom was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War.  Prior to his retirement, he worked as a lineman for PP& L; prior to that, he worked at the former International Boiler Works as a machinist.  He was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast.  In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his sons, Thomas W. Drake Jr and his wife Savannah of Stroud Township and Benjamin C. Drake of Philadelphia; his grandson Jase Drake.  He is also survived by his twin brother Ronald Drake of Bethlehem and 4 Drake nephews and many other nephews and nieces in-law.  Tom was predeceased by his brother William B. Drake Jr.  Funeral services with Military Honors will be held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 2:00pm at the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Todd officiating.
