Theresa Guglielmetti

Theresa Guglielmetti, 94, of Sciota, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home. She was the loving wife of Joseph L. Guglielmetti; they were married for 74 years. Born February 2, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Sophia (D’Ardia) Falcone. She was a resident of Monroe County for the past 15 years, after living in Coney Island, Brooklyn for most of her lifetime, and then on Staten Island before moving to Pennsylvania. She was a member of and worked as a secretary for the Shrine Church of Our Lady of Solace in Brooklyn, New York for many years. When she was younger, she worked as Fashion Buyer in Manhattan. In addition to her husband, Theresa is survived by her 2 daughters, Maryann Warner and her husband Jeffrey of Sciota, and Debra Schron of Bartonsville; her grandchildren Joseph Fertitta of Pittsburgh and Theresa Thomas and her husband Daniel of Bartonsville; her two great grandchildren Michelangelo Cibbarelli and Mariabella Fertitta. Theresa was predeceased by her sister Angelina D’Ambrosio, Helen Tomasino, and Bernice Gudice. There will be a viewing on Sunday July 10, 2022, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home,401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will be on Wednesday July 20, 2022 at 11:30am in the Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
