Terry Lee Evans, of Pen Argyl, passed away peacefully on Oct 23, 2019, at St Luke's-Anderson Campus, surrounded by his family. After losing his courageous battle against IPF and not becoming an organ donor recipient, he paid it forward to become an organ donor to others. He was the loving husband and soulmate of Jackie (Kile) Evans, they were married on Sept 30, 2017. Born Feb 22, 1971 in Scranton, Pa. The son of the late William and Maria (Drowns) Evans. Upon graduating in 1989, he enlisted in the US Navy Submarine School. He was a truck driver for the last 25 yrs, working for several trucking companies, most recently TBC in Pen Argyl. Terry's favorite daily activity was taking care of and playing with Loki and Gunner, our German Shepherds, who will miss him tremendously. Terry enjoyed playing pool, hunting, fishing, boating, kayaking, spending time by the ocean and with friends. His favorite sports were wrestling, football and baseball. He was also a member of the VFW Post 2540 in East Stroudsburg. In addition to his wife and mother, Terry will be deeply missed by his stepson Thomas Whitmore JR at home, stepdaughter Alyssa Behr of Chincoteague Island Va; brothers Brian Evans of Jonas, Bill Evans of Colorado Springs; his niece Sarah Evans of Carlisle, his nephews Josh Evans attending Bloomsburg University, Tyler Evans of Colorado Springs; his mother and father-in-law Linda and John Kile of New Smyrna Beach. Along with several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. There is going to be a Celebration of Life for Terry at the VFW Post 2540 in East Stroudsburg on Nov 3rd from 1pm to 5pm for family and friends to come together to celebrate friendships and good times.
