Tammy Vanwhy Beaver-Steele

Tammy (VanWhy) Beaver Steele, 50 of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Thursday July 13, 2017 at her home . She was the loving wife of William D.R. Steele, they were married September 15, 2012 Born October 10, 1966 in East Stroudsburg. She is the daughter of George and Linda (VanWhy) Wall of East Stroudsburg, she was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Prior to her illness, she was employed by the Lehigh Valley Health System Pocono Hospice House; prior to that she worked at Instrument Specialties in Delaware Water Gap and prior to that she worked at Iridium in East Stroudsburg. Tammy had a team for the relay for Life for the American Cancer Society; she was also a member of the Pocono Old Tyme Tractor Club. In addition to her husband Bill and parents, Tammy is survived by her daughter Amber Warner and her wife Dorothy of Effort; her step son William P. Steele of Florida, her stepdaughter Sara Hineline and her husband Jeffery of Bossardsville; her grandchildren George J. Beaver, Mia J. Beaver Lauren Miller and Jackson Steele; her grandmother Eleanor Wall of East Stroudsburg and her grandmother Berneda VanWhy of Saylorsburg. She is also survived by her brothers, George Wall and his wife Jess, John VanBuskirk and his fiance Joanne Deems, Samuel Wall, George Batron and his wife Kathy. her in laws Harry and Eleanor Steele; her daughter-in- law, Krissa; her niece and 2 nephews. Tammy was predeceased by her son Eric George Beaver on February 12, 2015 and her biological father George Tallada, Funeral services be held on Saturday July 15, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Chaplain Hermon officiating. Cremation will follow. There will be viewings on Friday July 14 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and on Saturday July 15 from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
