Steven D. Hagerty

Steven D. Hagerty Sr., 72, of Bartonsville, passed away on Friday October 18, 2024 at his home. He was the husband of Judy M. (Meeker) Hagerty, they were married 52 years. Born October 9, 1952, in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Olen and Bertha Hagerty, and Gloria (Metzger) and Ken Long. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.

His hobbies included Watching the NewYork Yankees, and the New York giants. He was a coin collector and loved spending time with family and loved ones.

He was an Employee at Shawnee for 20 years.

In addition to his wife, Steven is survived by His son Steven Hagerty Jr., daughter in law Vicky. His daughter Wendy Stark, son in law Tom . His three grandchildren; Granddaughters Ashley, Kayla, grandson Mackenzie. His eight great grandchildren. His three siblings; Brother Terry Hagerty, Mark Hagerty, sister in law Wendy. His sister Linda Smith, his brother in law Larry. An aunt Georgian Hagerty. Sister in laws Nancy Shafer, Mary Jane Straub, Sally Alexander. Brother in laws; Tomas Meeker (Karen), Ron Meeker, Mike Meeker (Robin), Donald Meeker. Several Nieces Nephews and cousins. A special friend Esther Thomas, her two daughters Sherry, Vicky.

Predeceased by his parents, Olen and Bertha Hagerty and Gloria and Ken Long.

Memorial funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 23rd at 10am at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
