Shawn "Butter" Evan Turner 52 of Kunkletown Born in East Stroudsburg December 11, 1964 Passed on December 14, 2016 He is survived by his son Zachary Turner of Wind Gap, his beloved grandson Sabastian Turner. Brother Cory Turner and his wife Sandra of East Stroudsburg Brother Dayton Turner of Scranton Sister Annie Turner, niece Ivy Turner both of Kunkletown, many aunts, uncles, cousins in the area and his best buddy John Fry. He worked in the past as a butcher at Hickory Valley Farm and then at Walmart. He was a drummer in several local bands back in the day. He was a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan. Loved the game of golf He enjoyed shooting pool and used to play in the local leagues. He was an avid fishermen. He is preceded in death by his father Barry Turner, his mother Nancy Turner and infant brother Perry Turner. There will be a private cremation and the family has chosen to do a Celebration Of Life at a later time. Donations can be made to the Special Olympics in his honor. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements
