Salvatore Marchica

Salvatore Marchica, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on January 24, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York.
He spent many years working for the Department of Environmental Protection, where he made significant contributions to the well-being of the environment and the communities he served.
Survived by his two cherished daughters Jessica Marchica & Krystle Sanabria and his son Salvatore Marchica Jr. He was a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren Angelina, Marisela, Gabriel and Jose; and a sister Francis.
Salvatore spent most of his adult life living close to his brother and friend Joseph Vadala & Family.
The past seven years Sal spent his time in PA to be taken care of by his youngest daughter Jessica. Sal loved all the wildlife and Mother Nature and most of all his cowboy shows.
He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, loyalty and humor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Marchica, and his mother, Concetta Belgio Marchica.
A visitation to honor Salvatore’s life will be held on June 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, located at 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
