Rosalie Giametta Indelicato

Rosalie Giametta Indelicato, 90, of Stroudsburg, went to be with God, Oct 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late Ben Indelicato, January 30, 1990. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Born on December 3, 1926, in Maspeth Queens, New York, she was the daughter of Calogero and Catherine (Maggio) Giametta. Rosalie was a resident of the Stroudsburg area and prior to that resided in East Rockaway, Long Island, New York. A graduate of Newtown High School, she began her career in fashion at Macy’s 34th St. She raised four children and worked for a local company before retiring. All of Rosalie’s years on this Earth were spent as a devout wife, mother, and grandmother. Rosalie is survived by four children: Attorney Maria (Indelicato), and husband Ricardo Ramirez of Stroudsburg; Cathy Indelicato, Diane Indelicato & Sal Indelicato, all of East Rockaway, New York; Four grandchildren: Nina Ramirez, Lily Ramirez, Amanda Hawkins and Nikolas Indelicato; her sister, Pauline Lee DeLuca, of New York, and many God children, nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing from 6-8pm, Sunday Oct. 22 at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday October 23, at 9:00am at The Church of Saint Matthew, 200 Brodhead Ave, East Stroudsburg with Father Gerald Shantillo as celebrant.. There will be an additional viewing on Monday October 23 at the Johnston's Wellwood Funeral Home, 305 North Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, New York, from approximately 1:15pm until the time of departure to the Mausoleum of the Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, New York, where there will be a catholic committal service. .
