Ronald Wayne Miller

Flag Ronald W. Miller, 67, of Pocono Summit, passed away on Monday February 8, 2016 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. Born September 25, 1948 in East Stroudsburg, the son of Evelyn (Counterman) Miller and the late Chester Miller ;he was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Ron was a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #922, Canadensis. He worked as a Auto Mechanic for most of his lifetime, and most recently was employed by National Auto. Ron is survived by his children, Vicky L. Miller and her husband Stephen Strunk of Stroudsburg, Jason C. Miller and his wife Tanya of East Stroudsburg, Kimberly Butsch and her husband Dennis of Mechanicsburg. His grandchildren Mikel, Morgan, Mollie, Hannah, Rory, Dennis, Dylan and Kassidy. He is also survived by his siblings, Larry Miller and Brenda Miller of East Stroudsburg, and Terry Miller of Glendale, Arizona; his niece Katelyn and his nephew Tatum. Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday February 13, 2016 at 3:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Art Frey officiating. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 2:00pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment of his cremated remains will be at the convenience of the family in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville PA.
