Ronald J. Swain

Ronald J. Swain, 84, of East Bangor, passed away on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Lehigh Valle Hospital -Pocono. He was the loving husband of Sandra (Blease) Swain, they were married for 65 years. Born November 7, 1936, in Trenton, New Jersey, the son of the late Walter T. and Leota (Shultz) Swain. Ron was retired military, having served in the United Sates Air Force for over 20 years. He was a member of the NRA He loved to hunt, fish, tinkering around, and yard sales. But most of all he loved to spend time with his family playing games such as cards and croquet. In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his children Deborah Ellen Short and her husband David R. of Mount Bethel, Christopher Thomas Swain and his wife Karin of Kenai, Alaska, Elisabeth Benson and her husband Steven of Saint George Utah, and Judith Lee Churchman of East Stroudsburg; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Walter T. Swain of Medford, Oregon. There will be no funeral services at this time.
