Robert A. Sharp, 78, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, at Hospice House in East Stroudsburg.

Born on November 2, 1947, Robert was the son of the late Robert W. and Ann (Ruddy) Geronimo. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gerard Sharp, and his beloved children, Joseph Sharp and Tracy Keeley Patno.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Debra (Drogan) Sharp; his seven grandchildren, Joshua, Jacqueline, Jarrod, Madison, Alivia, Riley, and Natalie; and his nieces, Rena and Sheree.

Bob was a kind and loving man who was always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. He spent 30 years working for the United States Postal Service, where he devoted himself to his work and the people he served.

A man who enjoyed keeping busy, Bob loved working with his hands and tools, whether he was fixing something that needed repair, practicing gunsmithing, or starting a new project. He found happiness in planting and tending gardens, camping, taking walks in nature, listening to music, and spending time around animals and pets. He also enjoyed keeping up with current events.

Bob will be remembered most for his generous heart, his willingness to help others, his love for his family, and the quiet ways he showed those around him that he cared. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will remain cherished by his family and all who knew him.

Bob and Debra shared nearly 40 years of marriage, with their anniversary falling on September 28. Although they did not quite reach that 40-year milestone together, the love, memories, and life they shared will remain with Debra forever. Their years together were filled with love, family, laughter, challenges, and countless memories that she will carry in her heart always.

A Memorial Service celebrating Bob's life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Mountain Stream Christian Church, 305 Dartmouth Drive, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends and loved ones to remember Bob by helping someone in need, just as he so often did throughout his life.
