Robert J. Michniewicz, 62, of Stroudsburg PA died peacefully at home on December 19, 2023 after a

of Joanne F. (Tauriello) Michniewicz, whom he married on July 19, 1986 in Morristown, NJ. Shortly

thereafter, the two moved to the Poconos in December 1987, where they built their first home.

Originally from Hackettstown, NJ, Bob graduated from Hackettstown High School in 1979 and earned his

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science from the County College of Morris. For many years he worked

as a computer programmer before he began investing in real estate and working as a contractor.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children, daughter Deanna and husband Adam Ty

Williams of Lexington, SC; sons Andrew of Jersey City, NJ;, Steven of Stroudsburg, PA; and Nicholas of

Lexington, SC. Bob is also survived by his four granddaughters and the apples of his eye Myla, Kiera,

Blayke and Rhyan; his siblings Richard and wife Beverly; James; Anne; Anthony; Marylou and partner

Dave; Edward and wife Wanda; and Dawn. Bob also has several nieces and nephews, great nieces and

nephews and great great nieces and nephews and as well as two cats, Athena and Winston. He was

predeceased by his sister Kathy and her Husband Ralph.

Bob loved to learn about many different subjects and spent his winters making good use of his library

card. He raced motocross when he was younger and continued his love of motorsports throughout his

life, watching it at every chance he had. His favorite forms of racing to watch were motocross, Formula

1, NASCAR, and especially ‘quarter midgets’ when his sons were behind the wheel. When he wasn’t

working on projects around the house or taking a ride on his Harley, Bob would be found sitting on the

patio with the cats, on the lookout for eagles flying over Cherry Creek.
