Robert Elwood Heller Jr.

Robert Elwood Heller Jr, 75, of East Stroudsburg passed away on Sunday December 13, 2020 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono, He was the husband of Barbara Mae (Shook) Heller, they were married August 20, 1965. Born January 10, 1945 in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Robert E. Heller Sr and Dolores Sarah (Fritz) Heller. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. He was a Veteran of the Army National Guard, serving during the Vietnam War. Bob worked as a plumber for his lifetime, working for the former H.L. Cleveland and then for the Pipefitters and Plumbers Local 524 in Scranton. He was a member of the George N. Kemp American Legion Post # 346, the Thomas P. Lambert VFW Post #2540, and the Monroe County 28th Infantry Division. He was also a member of the Barger Masonic Lodge #325. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Wayne Heller and his wife Toni of East Stroudsburg, his granddaughter Rachel Heller and her husband Jeremy Hartenfels of East Stroudsburg, his sisters Sharon Myrthel of Maiden, NC and Ruthann Eilber and her husband Terry of East Stroudsburg; Sister in law Sueann Heller of Allentown and several nieces and nephews along with many dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother Randy Heller.and brother in law Mat Myrthel There will be no services at this time. The Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Thomas P.
