Robert E. Mayers (Big Bob),61, of Wind Gap, Pa.,after fighting illness for a long time, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 23,2019 while on hospice and surrounded by loved ones. Born February 23, 1957 to Alvernia (Counterman) and Earnest Mayers, both of Wind Gap,Pa. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Louetta (Mottern) Mayers; his oldest daughter Jerilan (Annie) Kummer and Son In Law Robert Kummer; his youngest daughter Vickie Engler and Son In Law Chad Hunter; and only son, Robert Mayers. Robert has four grandchildren; Brittany Kummer, Jacob Engler, Kyle Engler and Lydia Engler. No memorial is scheduled at this time.
