Ricky Alan Keiper

Ricky Alan “Roadkill” Keiper, 55, of Stroudsburg, passed away at his home on Tuesday evening February 6, 2018. Born February 28, 1962 in East Stroudsburg the son of Hazel L (Batchler) Keiper of Stroudsburg and the late Alan A. Keiper. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Currently Ricky worked as a dispatcher for WGM Transportation; prior to that he was known as “Roadkill Rick”, working for Monroe County Vector Control; he also worked for Rich Banks at the Pocono Motion Body Shop for many years. Ricky is survived by his mother Hazel L Barnes and her husband Kenneth of Stroudsburg; his brother Randy A. Keiper of Raceland, Kentucky, his sister Wanda S. DeYong and her husband Gregory of Stroudsburg; his 3 nephews, Ryan Keiper of Lexington, Kentucky, David and Gregory DeYong of Stroudsburg, and his grandchildren Zoey and Kaden Zimorowicz. In addition to his Father, he was predeceased by his daughter Jessica M. Turner, and his brother Francis Walter Keiper. Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 4:00pm at the Analomink United Methodist Church, Cherry Lane & Route 191, Analomink with Pastor Danal Antal officiating. There will be a visitation from 3:00pm until the time of the services at church. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
