Richard "Richie" Keith Ludwig

Richard Keith Ludwig, “Richie” 33, of Stroudsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Born on November 14, 1987, in East Stroudsburg, Richie was the son of Tamara Ludwig of Stroudsburg and the late Richard P. Ludwig. Richie was a 2008 graduate of Stroudsburg High School and a lifelong resident of Monroe County. Like his father, Richie was a “die hard” fan of the Green Bay Packers and the New York Yankees. Despite his struggles in recent years, Richie touched the hearts of those around him, as evidenced by his friends, who reached out to express what a “happy go lucky” and “great guy” he was. We know that Richie is now with his father and sister and is loved in heaven as he is here on earth. In addition to his mother, Richie is survived by his sisters, Cassandra Matthews (Rich) of East Stroudsburg and Marissa Ludwig of Stroudsburg. He was the uncle of nieces; Richelle Matthews of East Stroudsburg, and Peyton Martin of Stroudsburg, nephews; Zachary Zulauf, Elijah and Luke Christian all of Stroudsburg, and his Aunt Catherine Herrmann and Cousin Anthony Herrmann with whom he was especially close. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his father Richie was predeceased by his sister Richelle Zulauf, (Jim), our “Guardian Angel”. Visitation will begin at 3:30 PM, services will immediately follow, at 4:30 PM at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, 915 North 5th St., Stroudsburg, PA. Pastor Linda Keefer will be the officiant.
