Rebecca "Becky" Heddy

Rebecca (Becky) Heddy was a remarkable human being. She would have done anything for anyone. She loved life, and people. She loved to help anyone she could anytime she could. She had a free spirit, and loved adventure. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. There are no words to express how loved she truly was, and always will be. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael, both parents William E. Heddy, and Patricia (Patty) Goda (Hendershot), and Grandfather Jack Victory Hendershot. She is survived by the loves of her life, her children, Jamie, Michael, Carrie Ann, Oliver, and Elliot of North Carolina. Grandmother Elizabeth (Betty) Hendershot (Cavicchi) of Effort, Step Father Pete (PJ) Goda of Shiremantown, sisters Betty Ann Moyer of East Stroudsburg, Brenda Heddy of Catasauqua, Louann Phillips of Tennessee, Kimberly Arias of Shillington, brother William (Billy) Heddy of Effort, sister Judith Guenther of Tennessee, brother Peter Goda of Delaware, sister Sabrina Goda of Harrisburg, and very many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and more cousins than we can list, all of whom love her very much. It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to her, but with great joy that we know she has gone home to be with the Lord. There will be a visitation on Monday December 13, 2021, from 3:00pmto 7:0pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home
