Raymond Alan Piez

Raymond A. Piez, 81 of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away on October 14, 2024, at the Lehigh Valley Hospice House in East Stroudsburg.

He was born in Kenvil, New Jersey on July 21, 1943, to the late Raymond and Leona Piez. He was a graduate of Roxbury High School in 1962

Ray served four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Cogswell, from 1964 to 1968. He enjoyed attending Navy reunions over the years. He was also a NASCAR fan.

Ray was employed as a lineman for Jersey Central Power and Light, retiring in 2003.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Terry, a sister Joyce Pruitt of Dahlonega, GA; nephew Brian O’Dell and wife Renita and daughter Emily of Dahlonega, GA; “niece" Yvonne O’Dell and daughter Tiffany of Cumming, GA; great nephew John Andrew O’Dell of GA; and cousins.

He was predeceased by a nephew John O’Dell.
