Randy Navarro, 72 peacefully passed away in his home on the morning of Feb. 7, 2018. He was born in Dover, NJ on August 19, 1945. Randy started his career as an electrician, where he owned his own business before beginning his lifelong career of truck driving, both cross-country and locally. Randy enjoyed cooking as a result of his time in the U.S. Navy during the 1960s, and The Naval Reserves in the 1970's where he served as a cook and proudly proclaimed his sausage and gravy as "the best”. He was a member of The Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 1336 for 45 years, was formerly a Commander of the Denville American Legion and member of the George N. Kemp Post in East Stroudsburg, Pa, as well as the VFW and Eagles. For many years Randy was very active in judging the Fireman parades. He was an avid Nascar fan closely following the careers of Dale Earnhardt Sr and Jr. When you didn't find Randy around a campfire with family, friends, and a Budweiser, you would find him playing pool and horseshoes on numerous leagues, where he especially enjoyed having Smuckers as his partner. Randy was truly a people person, he made friends with anyone he came in contact with, and as a result has a family of exceptionally good friends. Randy was predeceased by his mother Carolyn, his father Patzi, and his brother Tom. Randy is survived by his loving wife of 17 years Cathy A Navarro, his daughter Cynthia Jeffcoat and her companion James, his daughter Michelle Navarro-Decker and her husband Ron, his daughter Tara Morgan-Barreiro and her husband Anthony, his son Scott Morgan, his sisters Barbara Navarro and Cindy Hart, his niece Jennifer Hart, 8 grand-children and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law; Wanda Strunk and Donna Titlow and her husband John, his brothers-in-law; Bud Fields and John Fields and his wife Janice, as well as 8 nieces and nephews, their spouses, and children from the Fields family. A Memorial service and celebration of Randy's life will be held at one of Randy's most treasured places, The Moose Lodge #1336 on Friday, March 30th from 4-8pm. The service will be held in the social hall at 705 Stokes Mill Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: American Legion Post 346 201 E 5th St, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 OR Moosecharities.org and you may designate proceeds by choosing the Moosehaven button to the right
