Philip Albert Labar Jr.

Philip A. LaBar, Jr. 57, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Saturday April 27, at his home. Born November 16, 1961in East Stroudsburg, the son of Martha (Smith) LaBar of East Stroudsburg and the late Philip A. LaBar , Sr. He was a skilled carpenter, Philip enjoyed hinting, fishing and spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, he is survived by 3 children Philip A. LaBar III, Josh LaBar and Rickey LaBar. 5 grandchildren and one sister Ellen Zurlo, 2 brothers Brian LaBar and Mark LaBar and several nephews and nieces He was preceded in death by a brother Timothy LaBar. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 4, 2019 at 11:00am at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, with Rev. Eric Moser officiating.. Burial will follow. There will be a viewing on Saturday from 8:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
