Paula J. Getz, 69, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully with her sisters by her side on Friday December 30, 2022, at the Lehigh Valley Health System Hospice House, East Stroudsburg.
Born October 26, 1953 in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late Kenneth D. and Louise G. (Starner) Transue. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
Paula is survived by her siblings, Robert Starner and his wife Sherry of Stroudsburg, Cindy Mosteller and her husband Wayne of East Stroudsburg, and Lisa Transue and her companion Shawn McGuire of East Stroudsburg; her companion Glenn A. Oswald of Stroudsburg, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Neil LeRoy Transue.
As per Paula’s request, there will be no services at this time. The Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
