Patrick Eugene Martin

Patrick E. Martin, 77, of Stroudsburg, passed away suddenly on Sunday October 29, 2017. He was the husband of Carolyn S. (Shimer) Martin, they were married over 56 years. Born May 15, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Frederick and Clara (Sparono) Martin. He was a resident of Monroe County for most of his lifetime. Prior to his retirement in 2004 he worked as a welder and electrician at Patterson Kelley in East Stroudsburg for over 40 years. Patrick loved and was a regular at the Besecker’s 5th Street Diner, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting, and the seashore In addition to his wife , Patrick is survived by his son Kevin P. Martin Sr and his wife Tammy of Snydersville, his daughter Susan M. Sebring and her husband Dale of Bartonsville; His grandchildren Kevin Martin Jr and his fiancé Karissa, Samantha Martin, and Rebecca Sebring. There will be a viewing on Wednesday November 1, 2017 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 1:30pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Brett Jenkins officiating.
