Paraschiva Tutuianu

Paraschiva Tutuianu, 87 of Bushkill passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono. She was the wife of the late Ion Tutuianu with whom she shared 47 years of marriage. Born on June 8, 1931 in Constatza, Romania she was the daughter of the late Gheorghe and Stela (Basarabeanu) Mirica. She was a resident of Pennsylvania for 14 years. Paraschiva worked as a secretary in a legal department as well as in retail. She was always a very clean and organized woman. Paraschiva continuously followed her routine and never had anything to say that was not pleasant. She was a very respectful and peaceful person, which her family always admired. Her dearest family members and friends called her Cici. She is survived by her son Peter and his wife Alexandra who loved and cared for her deeply; as well as her grandchildren Alexandru Cesar and his wife Irene Tutuianu of Romania; Laura Ramona and her husband Sean of Canada; Great-Grandchildren Vlad Tutuianu and Tudor Tutuianu of Romania; Romina Bowen and Selena Bowen of Canada and her Sister in-law Margaret Mirica of Constatza, Romania. In addition to her husband and parents her brother, Ion Mirica, preceded Paraschiva in death. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 10:00am at the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 135 Stokes Ave., Stroudsburg with Father Theodore Petrides officiating, a burial to follow in the Holy Cross Greek Orthodox section of the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
