  2. Norman Lloyd John, 76, of Neola, PA., died peacefully in Bethlehem, PA on 2/21/2026.
  3. He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA to Norman Lord John and Bertha Cook John.
  4. Norman thrived playing sports and was a stand out baseball and football player in high school. He later became an
  5. accomplished golfer and bowler. He spent many years bowling in the local league. Bowling and golf were true
  6. passions and he never missed an opportunity to show his skill and have fun with his friends.
  7. He spent most of his summers as a youth at Pine Camp and then Sun on the Brow, his aunt Emily’s fishing camp
  8. which were both located in Ontario, Canada. He worked along with his cousin, Eddie John, who he considered to be
  9. a brother to him.
  10. Norman attended Harrington High School in Rosemont, PA and then began studying business at Geneva College in
  11. Beaver Falls, PA. During the Vietnam War Norman enlisted in the Navy and spent most of that time in Cuba. After
  12. an honorable discharge, he later worked as an electronic technician at the Tobyhanna Army Depot until his
  13. retirement. His job allowed him to travel abroad and throughout the United States providing life cycle support
  14. including repair, integration and field support for electronic systems for all parts of the military.
  15. Norman was married to Kimbi Rich on June 11, 1983 in Stroudsburg, PA. Kim, who was an accomplished
  16. Highland Dancer and instructor, performed a dance at their wedding reception. It was an intimate celebration
  17. where they were surrounded by their family and friends.
  18. Their daughter, Ailee Elizabeth John, was born and welcomed into their lives in 1990. Just two months later, the
  19. family started their annual summer trip to “camp Maine” in Aroostook county for a family visit at Norman’s sister and
  20. brother in law’s home. For as long as they were able, they also made a yearly pilgrimage to Canada to visit cousins
  21. on Clear Lake along the Rideau Canal.
  22. Norm will always be remembered for his easy going character, friendly smile and love of his family and animals.
  23. He saved several animals along the way throughout his life and animals remained very important to him up until
  24. his passing, further proving his gentleness of heart.
  25. He was predeceased by his wife, his parents and his brother, John Narciso. He is survived by his daughter, Ailee
  26. John of Stroudsburg, PA, his sister, Patty Grecia, of Sturbridge, MA and his sister, Mary John Mraz and her husband,
  27. Randall Mraz of Freeport, ME, two nieces, Emily Mraz of Los Angeles, CA and Melinda Barber of Portland, ME..
