- Nicole Denise Francis, 47, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully at LVHN Hospice home,
- Stroudsburg, PA on March 11 th 2026. Nicole was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished
- friend. She was a radiant light in the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of love,
- generosity, and grace.
- Nicole was born in Paterson, NJ, the daughter of Ed and Deborah Williams on February 6 th 1979.
- Nicole lived in Paterson, then Hackensack NJ, until she migrated to Monroe County PA in 2003.
- Nicole found her greatest joy in the company of the three loves of her life: her husband and their
- twin sons. A dedicated and enthusiastic supporter, she could always be found cheering from the
- sidelines at their many sporting events, fully immersed in the lives of those she loved most. Her
- warmth extended beyond her immediate family, and she deeply valued time spent with her
- extended circle of friends and loved ones.
- With a passion for creativity and community, Nicole found fulfillment in gardening and crafting.
- She was a woman of quiet strength and thoughtful service, whose presence brought comfort and
- joy to those around her.
- Nicole was a proud graduate of JFK High School in Paterson NJ, then she graduated from Gibbs
- collage with her Associates degree, she continued on to complete a Bachelor's degree in
- Computer Science Strayer University. Her career was a testament to her determination as she
- was promoted from a Help Desk Specialist to become an IT Manager.
- Nicole met the love of her life, Homer Francis, on a blind date arranged by mutual friends. From
- that moment forward, they built a beautiful life together. Married in May 2003, they welcomed
- their cherished twin sons, Ryan Ead and William Anthony three years later, completing their
- family and filling their lives with purpose and pride.
- Nicole was preceded in death by her beloved father, Ed (Ead) Williams, with whom she shared
- treasured memories of heartfelt conversations, fishing trips, and road trip adventures. Abraham
- Markland, who entered into her life unexpectedly and became a father figure to her and
- grandfather figure to William and Ryan.
- She is survived by her devoted husband, Homer Francis; her beloved sons, Ryan and William;
- her mother, Deborah Williams; her mother-in-law, Norma Francis; her godmother Veronica
- Caldwell; her sister, Angela White; her sister-in-law, Opal Lindsay; her brother-in-law, Hugh
- Francis; and her adored nieces: Astinique’ McClain, Briona McClain, Kaylan Cox, Kre-Shea
- Lindsay, Kyoli Lindsay, Courtney Francis, and Beaux Cox. She is also survived by her nephews:
- Michael Stuart, Stephan Cox, Justin Francis and Luka Cox.
- Nicole’s memory will also live on through a host of extended family, friends, and lifelong
- companions, including her dear friends, Jennifer, Tracy, Charlene, Isabelle and Luz.
- Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit, strength, and love will continue to inspire all who knew her.
