Myrna Friedman
June 21, 1936 — March 11, 2024
Myrna Friedman was born June 21, 1936 to Charles and Tillie Silverstein in Hamilton, NJ. Myrna was one of three children and is predeceased by her sister Evelyn Simpson and brother Marvin Silverstein.
Myrna was raised in Newark, NJ where she met and married her husband, Shelby. Myrna and Shelby were the proud parents of 3 Sons Keith, Greg and Brian.
Myrna and Shelby owned and operator several food establishments in New Jersey before relocating to Marshalls Creek, PA in 1984, where they remained until their deaths, with Shelby passing in 2000.
Myrna loved art, music and animals, particularly horses dogs, having adopted several dogs and cats through the years. She also loved birds particularly finches her home was always full of the sound of dogs barking and birds chirping.
Myrna was predeceased by her sons Greg in 2001 and Brian in 2021.
Myrna was the proud grandmother of John, Caylin, Kali and Meadow and great grandmother of Layla, Alyvia, Ethan and Sage.
