Muriel E. Nordmark

Muriel E. Nordmark, 90, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Sunday June 23, 2019 at the Slatebelt Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late James B. Nordmark to whom she was married to for 62 years. Born March 16, 1929 in Windham, New York, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mabel L. (Schermerhorn) Jones. Muriel was a beloved wife and mother who devoted her life to her family. She was an avid reader, and like to work the NY Times Cross Word puzzles, crocheted, and later in life enjoyed her computer and kindle Muriel is survived by her four children Stephen B. Nordmark and his wife Christine of Saylorsburg, Deborah E. Phillips and her husband Michael of East Stroudsburg, James K. Nordmark and wife Bobbi of Stroudsburg and Joann M Rondeau and her husband James of Florida; and is survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Robert Jones and her sister Linda Nadeau, both of Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Edward and Richard, her twin sister Margaret, and great grandson Stephen Luke Nordmark. Upon her request, there will be no funeral services.
