Mitchell Lewis Counterman

Mitchell Lewis Counterman, 38,of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Thursday February 4, 2016 at home. Born July 13, 1977 in East Stroudsburg the son of Deborah Ann Counterman and Martin A. Grosse of East Stroudsburg. He worked as a subcontractor in the painting industry. He was avid Washington Redskin Fan, was a body builder and loved his remote control gas powered cars. In addition to his parents he is survived by his 3 children, Tyler and Aiden Counterman, and Holly Marsh; and his 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Michelle Toldo, Jeremy Grosse, Jessica Grosse, and Lisa Greene; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial funeral service will be held on Saturday February 13, 2016 at 11:00am at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg . There will be a visitation from 9:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360
