Michael Farrence Jr.

Michael Farrence Jr. 71, born on December 27, 1949 2021 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Michael and Ann (chinchar) Farrence of Scranton. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. and served during The Vietnam War. He enjoyed hunting and fishing at his favorite spot Fairview Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward and James Farrence; a sister Rita Capwell and his beloved sons Anthony Farrence and James Farrence He is survived by his wife Bessie Farrence, a sister Mary White, of Scranton, PA his son Michael Farrence, Jr. and wife Karen of Scranton, sons Edward and Matthew; daughter Traci; granddaughter Jennifer all of East Stroudsburg, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Tuesday August 24, 2021 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a funeral service at 4:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Margie Good officiating In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360
