Matthew Craig Mills

On Thursday October 4th 2018, Matthew Mills, loving father, passed away at the young age of 37. Matthew leaves behind his only child, McKayhla, grandson Mason, father Craig, 3 brothers, Chad, Kyle, Derek and one sister, Tricia, and his grandpa Ralph Manes, and numerous aunts and uncles. Matthew was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Manes, his step father Gary Heller, and his grandma Joan Manes. Matthew was far too young to be taken from this life. He had so much more life and love to give. His greatest accomplishment was his daughter, McKayhla. From the day she was born, he simply adored her. He had such an infectious spirit and laugh, you couldn’t help but laugh with him. If Matt took you under his wing, you were safe and protected, he would have done anything for the ones he loved. He had so many hopes and dreams of being a grandfather to his grandson, Mason. Matt always said that when he dies he wouldn’t be missed, but that isn’t true. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. He will live in our hearts, our minds, and our memories. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 10th at Bensing Thomas Funeral home, 401 North 5th st Stroudsburg at 3pm. We ask that you could wear bright colors instead of black. We all love you dad and you will be missed.
