Mary Sharon Summerton

Mary Sharon Summerton, 76 of Reeder's passed away on Monday May15, 2023 while a resident at Whitestone Care Home.

Born September 15,1946 in Dover, New Jersey. She was the daughter of the late

James and Mary (Goodenough) Delaney.

She was a resident of Monroe County since 2006 and prior to that she resided in Pittston.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dover, New Jersey.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a Collator for ICS in Luzern County.

She will be remembered by her Dazzling Smile & quick wit & Great sense of humor.

She loved writing poems she even had a few published. She also loved trivia & music.

She is survived by her children which she adored, Daughters: Shiela Kempka, her husband Joseph of Reeders, Pa

Karolynn Campbell, husband Sean of Florida.

Sons: Kelly Summerton, wife Lori of Pittston, Jason Summerton, wife Lisa of Exeter, Pa

Grandchildren She adored: Jessica Farber, husband Matt of Florida

Dakota Rowan, wife Allison of Pittston, Pa

Justine Summerton, fiancé Anthony of Pittston, Pa

Christian Summerton of Exeter, Pa

Caitlin Nulton of Pittston, Pa

6 Great Grandchildren: Nicholas, Nathan, Elizabeth, Emmitt, Zoey & Adelyn

She is also survived by her brother John "Jack" Delaney, his wife Gail of Dover, NJ.

Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

A brother James Delaney preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family at Bensing Thomas Funeral Home,

401 North 5th Street Stroudsburg.

There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen,
