Mary E. Rodgers

Mary E. Rodgers, 51 of Saylorsburg, passed away on Wednesday April 6, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Randy C. Rodgers, they were married for 22 years. Born November 3, 1964 in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Ruth (Shaner) Kusmider. She was a lifelong resident of the the Saylorsburg and Stroudsburg area. She had worked for In Home Referral Inc. for the past 6 years, and prior to that she worked for Champion Mortgage Company. In addition to her husband Randy, she is survived by her son Nicholas J. Rodgers of Saylorsburg; her sister Cathleen A. Halterman of Afton, NY, Her sister in law Cindy (Rodgers) Cook and her husband Daniel of Saylorsburg. She is also survived b her nephews Justin H. and Jared S. Halterman, and Colin Cook; and her nieces Chelsea and Courtney Cook. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 2:00pm at The Hamilton Restaurant, 5295 Hamilton South, Saylorsburg. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
