Mary Anne Connell, 65, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Monday July 17, 2023, at the Lehigh Valley Hospice House, East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Dave Connell.
Born January 16, 1958, in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late Stanley Rutt Sr. and the late Virginia (Garris) Rutt. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County
She was a longtime bartender at the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1336 in Stroud Township.
Mary Anne is survived by her daughter, Audrey Hagerty; her grandchildren Kaleb and Hunter; her good friends Cookie and Chelsea Stephens with whom she lived. her siblings Linda Rutt of Blakeslee, Patsy Smith of East Stroudsburg, Alberta Counterman of Tobyhanna, Bertha Griffin of Manteca, California, Donald Rutt of South Carolina and Ronald Rutt of North Carolina.
She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Rutt, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial funeral services will be held on Sunday August 6, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Moose Lodge, 705 Stokes Mill Road, East Stroudsburg PA 18301 with Reverend Steven Dickison officiating.
