Mary Ann Hawk

Mary Ann Hawk, 77, of Stroudsburg passed away on Sunday evening, February 20, 2022 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was the wife of John W. Hawk for 57 years. Born on January 9, 1945 in East Stroudsburg she was the daughter of Warren “Abe” and Edna (Mader) Schreck of Stroudsburg. Mary Ann was a 1962 graduate of Stroudsburg High School and attended Churchman’s Business School. Mary Ann was a Realtor and became an instructor at the Pocono Real Estate Academy. Mary Ann loved spending time with her 4 grandsons. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, William John Hawk of Stroudsburg, a daughter Jennifer L. Heck and her husband Patrick of West Wyoming and 4 Grandsons, Lincoln, Cael, Kendall and Marcus Heck of West Wyoming; a brother Edward Schreck and his wife Judy of Stroudsburg, a sister Carla Mathiesen and her husband Steven of East Stroudsburg. There will be no viewing. Remembrance services will be private and at the convenience of the family at Bensing and Thomas Funeral Home 401 North 5th St, Stoudsburg, PA 18360. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church, 419 Bossardsville Rd, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
