Marjorie E. Henry

Marjorie E. Henry, 88, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was the recent widow of Jerry Henry Sr, who passed March 19, 2025 (the week prior).

Born January 23, 1937, in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late James and Mable (Counterman) Klinger. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.

Marjorie was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be tremendously missed by everyone who knew her.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a sports equipment reconditioner for Olympic reconditioning in Stroudsburg, a maid at Laurel Manor, and an employee at Walmart.

Marjorie absolutely loved spending time with her family having cookouts, camping, and fishing. She was her happiest surrounded by her family. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word games, watching her favorite baseball team the Phillies, collecting bells and Elvis Memorabilia.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, grandson Jesse Miller, granddaughter Jessica Smith as well as her sons Wesley and Wyatt Smith, her siblings Royal Klinger, Carl Klinger, Paul Klinger Sr, Molly Klinger, Richard Klinger, Harry Klinger, Joe and Carl Pelewski.

Marjorie is survived by her sons Donald Smith, Morgan Smith (wife Glenda), Jerry Henry Jr (wife Dawn), Jeffrey Henry (fiancé Claire) as well as her daughters Dawn Smith (husband Shawn), Lori Smith (husband Harry), Barbara Matthews (husband Marty) along with many, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

There will be no funeral services at this time.
