Marion Walton

Marion Walton, 89 of Forest City, Pennsylvania, formerly of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Monday June 22, 2023, at the Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Born September 5, 1933, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late George Walton and the late Clara (Hineline) Tackett. She was a resident of Monroe County for most of her lifetime.
She was employed as a brush maker at the Burnley Workshop in Snydersville for many years and was active in the Special Olympics, receiving several medals.
She always had a smile and a big hug!!!!
Marion is survived by her 2 Aunts, Helen L. Wallace and Rose Lee both of East Stroudsburg; and several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother Eugene Morris and her sister Betty Staples.
There will be a viewing on Tuesday June 27, 2023, from 2:00pm until the time of the service at 5:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Margie Good Officiating, Cremation will follow.
