Marion Catherine Jefferies Kropczynski

Marion Catherine Jefferies Kropcyzynski, 96, of Stroudsburg, passed away on December 8, 2017 at the Lehigh Valley Health Systems Hospice House . Marion was born in Oxford England. During World War II she worked in the war office before her marriage to Thaddeus Kropczynski, a U.S. Army officer and moving to the United States. During her lifetime, she worked in various accounting positions while raising her family in New Jersey. Marion enjoyed painting, travel and spending time with family. She especially loved decorating for the holidays where she would put her creative and artistic talents on display for the enjoyment of friends and family. Marion was preceded in death by her husband Thaddeus and her sister, Betty Strange. She is survived by her daughters Pamela Meyer and her husband Kurt of Mechanicsburg, PA and Kim Henderson and her husband Kenneth of Greentown, PA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Margot Schmidt and Eric Meyer; and three great grandchildren, Luke 3, and twins Brooklyn and Cassidy 1. Cremation was private and burial of her cremated remains will be at the convenience of the family in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield, New Jersey.
