Margaret "Marge" Pfeifer

Picture Margaret B. “Marge” Pfeifer, 72, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Thursday October 13, 2016 at her home. She is the wife of William J. “Bill” Pfeifer, they were married August 29, 1964. Born May 7, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late George and Bridget Brandimarti; she was a resident of Monroe County since 1992 and prior to that of Pittsburgh. Marge was a member of the Church of Saint Luke, Stroudsburg , and a member of the Columbiettes of Father John T. Butler Council #4084 Knights of Columbus. Prior to her retirement, she was the Sales Associate and the Manager of the Tellers the NEPA Credit Union, and prior to that worked in sales at the former Flowerland. While living in Pittsburgh, she worked as a long distance operator for AT&T and also worked as a florist and counter person at her brother in laws flower shop. In addition to her husband Bill, Marge is survived by her children William J. Pfeifer Jr and his wife Sherry of Monaca, Pennsylvania; Vincent G. Pfeifer of Pen Argyl; and Janine Marie Eigenbrode and her husband Shawn of Pittsburgh. Her grandchildren Devon Pfeifer, Kennady Lorrah-Pfeifer, Elliot Lorrah-Pfeifer, Ayden M. Eigenbrode, and Mason, Ruby Grace, Emma and Hayden Klemencie. She is also survived by her brother Phil Brandi and is wife Alice of Pittsburgh; and her niece Karen Grochunis, and other nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 10:00am at the Church of Saint Luke, 818 Main Street, Stroudsburg with Father Carmen Perry as celebrant. Cremation will follow There will be viewings on Monday October 17, 2016 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm with a prayer service at 6:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg; and on Tuesday October 18, 2016 from 9:00am until the time of the mass at church.
