Marain C. Dennis

Marian Cramer Dennis of Stroudsburg passed away on May 27 at Whitestone Care Center. She was born in East Stroudsburg, PA on March 13, 1925, the daughter of the late Sterling and Florence (White) Cramer. She married Russell E. Dennis, Jr. on September 18, 1949, who preceded her in death on December 29, 2013. Marian was an accomplished bowler and worked at Wychoff’s Department Store and Groner’s Dress Shop. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Inskeep of East Lyme, Connecticut and Patricia Dennis of Concord, Massachusetts and a granddaughter, Liana Shames as well one niece and two nephews. She was a member of East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, and later Faith United Methodist Church, Stroudsburg. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. There will be no viewing. At the request of the family, memorial donations made in Russell’s name to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 4383, Bethlehem PA 18018.
