Mabel Houck

Mabel M. Houck, 89, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Sunday March 3, at The Gardens of Stroud.  She was the wife of the late Clyde Houck.

Born March 5, 1934, in Paradise Valley, Monroe County the daughter of the late Oliver and Helen May (Woolbert) VanBuskirk.  She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County and attended Keekee Chapel.  She loved animals.

She worked in private housekeeping for Dick and Miriam McDonna for many years; and prior to her retirement worked as Liz Clairborne in Mount Pocono for several years.

Mabel is survived by her daughter Bonnie white and her husband Robert of East Stroudsburg; her brother Oliver VanBuskirk Jr of Henryville, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time, and cremation will private.
