Lynn Patricia Beattie, 74, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Saturday January 13, 2024 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono. She was the wife of the late Richard Beattie.
Born July 17, 1949, in Brooklyn New York, the daughter of the late Robert and Mabel (Sather) Murphy, she was a resident of Monroe County since 2012. She as of the catholic Faith.
She was a member of the Stroudsburg moose #1336.
Lynn enjoyed bingo, the casinos, and her Haagen-Dazs ice cream.
She is survived by her children
Carianne Smiley and her husband Chad, Kristi Coleman, Kelly Maglio and her husband Scott, and Michael Beattie and his wife Vanessa.
Her grandchildren Jessica Rice, Dennis Rocher and his wife Aundrea, John James Murphy, Thomas Coleman, Dominic Maglio, Camille Maglio, Kylie Beattie, and Sawyer Beattie.
Her great grandchildren
Adriannah Rice, Trinity Rice, Emma Rocher, and Leo Rocher.
Memorial funeral services will be held on Sunday January 21, 2024, at 2:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Chaplain Herman Simpson officiating. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 12:00noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Following the services everyone is invited to the Moose Lodge #1336, 705 Stokes Mill Road, east Stroudsburg PA 18301,to celebrate Lynn’s life.
