Lonnie Leroy Miller

Lonnie Leroy Miller, 54, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Wednesday September 1, 2021 at his home. Born September 28, 1966 in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, the son of Robert and Cheryl (Pennington) Miller of Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He was a resident of Monroe County since he was 17; and was a graduate of Stroudsburg High School with the Class of 1984 He worked as an Appliance Technician at Jewel Appliance on Main Street, Stroudsburg since 1995. He also worked in construction for many local construction companies including LTS and GAK Lonnie was a member of the Post 2540 VFW Post, East Stroudsburg, where he was in the Pool League. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his 4 children, Brittany Wilgus of Stroudsburg, Krystian Miller and his wife Erica of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Zachary Obert of Massachusetts, and Jacob Miller and his fiancé Meagan Capone of Stroudsburg; His grandchildren Riley, Airyanna, Kaylee, Nash and Bowenn. Lonnie is also survived by his sister Laurie Butterworth of North Carolina and a half brother Gilbert Long of Pennsylvania, his biological Father Leroy Long of Indiana, Pennsylvania and several nieces. There will be a viewing on Sunday September 12, 2021 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Benisng-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg .
