Lola Vera Daggres

Lola Vera Daggres of Bushkill, P.A. passed away at the age of 67 on Friday October 21, 2022, at her home. Born May 27, 1955 in Queens, New York, the daughter of the late Ernest Oscar Daggres and Josephine Mary (Moraco) Daggres. She has been a resident of Bushkill for over 35 years. Prior to her retirement she worked as a Mail Handler Equipment Operator for the United States Postal Service for over 30 years. She was an active member of the Newman Smith American Legion Post 514 Ladies Auxillary of Bushkill, where she served as the Sergeant of Arms. She had much love and compassion for animals. She leaves behind her (kids), dog Byron and cat Mister. She was the Best friend anyone could have.

Lola is survived by her sister Andrea and Louis (Ross) Arroyo, sisters Marianne Daggres and Christine Daggres Ainsworth along with nephew Michael and nieces Michelle and Paulina, many cousins and close friends of the family Gloria and Frankie Faraino. Predeceased by her brothers Anthony Donald Daggres and Ernest Oscar Daggres Jr.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday November 1, 2022, at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home of Stroudsburg, from 12:30pm until the time of a Prayer Service at 1:30pm with Pastor Margie Goode Officiating.
