Lois Marie Stephens

Lois Marie Stephens, 85, of East Stroudsburg,, passed away on Wednesday August 11, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Clayton Samuel Rumble and the late William F. Stephens. Born March 30, 1936 in Dover, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Clarence and Frances (Swayze) Vandrehoof. She was a resident of Monroe County for many years. Lois is survived by her children: Robert Vanderhoof, Raymond Clark, Gwyn Zara, Richard Rumble and his wife Kelly, and Bonnie Coyne and her husband Richard. Her grandchildren Tracy, Robert, Cassandra, Dawn, John, Brittany, Alexis, Katherine, Megan and Emily and 9 great grandchildren She is also survived by her siblings, Sharon, Yvonne, Floyd, Donald, Walter Robert and Arnold; and many nieces and nephews. Lois was predeceased by her sister Geraldine and her brother Clarence Jr. There will be a visitation on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 3:00pm with a memorial service at 4:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Margie Good officiating.
